At the heart of our sporting community TriWanaka aims to bring more kids into our sport, increase adult involvement and make triathlon a safe and fun activity for all in the Central Lakes district. Join us for an opportunity to catch up with others in our community that have interest in the sport of Triathlon and watch a brilliant documentary about athletes journeys to achieve their dreams. We will also hear from Triathletes in our community on the night about their recent experiences and have a surprise for the evening also. This film follows 6 triathletes from 4 countries (U.S., China, Germany, and Australia) and tells their stories of how they train and prepare for the world’s largest long distance triathlon race - the legendary CHALLENGE ROTH in Germany. The history of the early days of Ironman triathlon is also told by some of the Ironman legends.
